This kit contains native North Central Minnesota plants that will thrive in both sunlight as well as quite a bit of shade.  They work well in the multistory habitat that is found in many Cass County lots.  Consider using on the border of woodlands or to fill in the understory in areas where some light is able to penetrate.  
 
If you are planting in an area of full sun, consider using the North Central Minnesota Praire kit.
